Agreed. This is a fantastic insight into the mindset of being poor. We were lower middle class, I'd say. We were lucky enough I didn't have to get used underwear, but I wore used clothes. I wasn't genuinely poor. But I still learned a lot of the poor mindset-and carry it into today.
