While the month of August has been a massive pain in the ass, I've done my best to never stop feeling grateful that I have the ability to deal with this situation and still pay for rent, food, and the occasional beer.
That doesn't mean $600 isn't a lot of fucking money. That's enough to keep me in Magic cards for a year, CD's for 6 months-maybe longer, pay my rent and buy food for 1 month, maybe even pay for gas too, or probably totally overhaul my wardobe.
But I can afford this. Some people cannot. So let's hear it for being humble.
