To everyone who sent good wishes.
Dad's in the hospital; he had something like an 80% blockage in one of his arteries.
But he's OK. He's on his back for the next 12 hours. He's on blood thiners, and apparently he can't drive for the next 3 days b/c if the act of breaking the car might cause the bloodclot that forms in his chest to come out.
I mean. Fuck.
But. He's ok. That's what goddamn matters.

Strangely, I happen to know a shitload about how they ("they" the invisible arbitrary source of healing) treat heart problems, including, but not limited to, blocked arteries. The fact that they didn't put in a stint is good. I hope the blood thinners do the trick. When does he go back in for his next stress test or EKG?
Actually, they did put in a stint. I know that's not awesome, but apparently all of this happened before he actually had a heart attack. Which everyone ('everyone' being the invisible arbitrary source, again) says is really good.
I didn't get to talk to him long. But I think he goes in next week.
Best wishes to you and your family. I'm glad to hear that there's been a lot of silver lining so far.
Thank you.
